Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Chivas Brothers will play a major part in the Festival again with a varied programme over the ten days.

Dufftown Highland Games

This is the 116th year for these grand old Highland Games.  A fantastic opportunity to see massed pipe bands, highland dancing and all the traditional sports events.   Ben Rinnes 5 tops Hill Race, Overseas Visitors Race. Usual Events: Massed Pipe Bands, Track & Field, Heavy Events, Tug O’ War, Solo Piping, Highland Dancing.

Aberlour Highland Games -
This traditional Highland games takes place on the banks of the River Spey in the village of Aberlour. There is massed pipe bands, Highland dancing (all ages), open heavyweights, track and field; tug-of-war, junior piping, pets parade and children's races. Also included is a haggis-hurling event for overseas visitors!

Grantown Highland Games
- Location: HeithfieldPark, Grantown-on-Spey. Special Event: 56lb Weight for Distance Championship, Usual Events: Highland Dancing, Solo Piping, Open Tug O’ War, Running, Cycling, Field and Heavy Events, Mass Pipe Bands.

28 August
Lonach Gathering -
Upper Donside is the location of a unique event each year on the fourth Saturday of August. Nowhere else will you see the March of the Clansmen. The Men of Lonach, in full Highland dress and armed with pikes and Lochaber battleaxes, march around the arena, having already accomplished a long march early in the morning round the homes of the patrons of the Gathering.

Braemar Gathering -
  Perhaps the most celebrated of all the Highland Games in the world, and the only one which guarantees the presence of a member of the royal family, the Braemar Gathering prides itself on its reputation for friendship and hospitality. International athletes will compete in heavy and track events, and there will be displays and competitions featuring pipers and dancers The final Highland Games of season and made famous by the Royal Family attending each year.

Speyfest -
One of the north's foremost Celtic festivals, Speyfest offers a wonderful weekend of high-quality traditional and modern music, concerts, late-night ceilidhs and Celtic rock. Musicans from around the world will be performing as usual, and there's a special programme for children and young people.

Keith Country Show -
This year the Keith Country Show celebrates its 136th year… the Show has a longstanding history and reputation, renowned for being one of Scotland's best and friendliest Shows. The organisers are keen to maintain this proud tradition and continue to broaden the appeal of the Show, attracting visitors from near and far.
