DOUBLE GOLD FOR ROYAL SALUTE AT INTERNATIONAL WINE & SPIRIT COMPETITION - 2006

Royal Salute has enjoyed major success at the 2006 International Wine & Spirit Competition, with Royal Salute The Hundred Cask Selection and Royal Salute 21 Year Old both receiving prestigious gold medals in the Deluxe Blend category.

An award-winning whisky, Royal Salute 21 Year Old’s achievements also include a Trophy for ‘Best Blended Scotch Whisky’ at the same competition in 2003. Its distinctive taste is the result of masterful blending and perfect ageing. The deep gold colour of the whisky reflects the power and richness of the flavours, with soft fruity aromas balanced with a delicate floral fragrance and mellow honeyed sweetness finishing on a subtle, oaky smokiness.

World-renowned Scotch whisky Royal Salute 21 year old has added two further jewels to its crown as leader in the super-premium category, winning a gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2005 and being voted ‘Best of the Best’ Scotch Blended Whisky at the esteemed Best of the Best Whisky Awards.

The Best of the Best Whisky Awards are held every two years, and entries are by invitation only, selected from the highest rated whiskies by international drinks title, Whisky Magazine. The competition is judged by some of the most discerning experts in the international whisky industry, with winners chosen following a series of exclusive tastings held in America, Ireland, Japan, London and Scotland.

RICH, POWERFUL ROYAL SALUTE 21 YEAR OLD AWARDED TROPHY AT INTERNATIONAL WINE & SPIRIT COMPETITION - 2003

Royal Salute 21 Year Old has once again blazed a trail of glory for Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky business of Pernod Ricard, by winning the trophy for ‘Best Blended Scotch Whisky’ at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2003. 

It is the second successive year that Royal Salute 21 Year Old has been awarded this highly coveted IWSC trophy.  This outstanding achievement reflects the prestige of the brand and its exceptional blend of very rare whiskies, each matured for at least 21 years.
